The most noticeable change on this Pod however, is the new way of filling. The capacity of the TPP X Pod has increased, you can now fit 5.5mls of e-liquid in there, where you could only get 4.5mls into the older PnP pods. Personally I would have included the o-ring inside the top of the drip tip recess, so that vapers could use even more custom drip tips, but I’m assuming they have their reasons for doing it like this. While the 810 removeable drip tip is awesome, and you can use your own on there, you are limited to using drip tips with external o-rings unfortunately. This new Pod features, a removable 810 drip tip, a hidden side fill, larger capacity, and slightly different base. The new TPP X Pod, is made from clear PCTG plastic and stainless steel, whereas the older PnP Pods were entirely tinted PCTG. When I say they’ve been redesigned from the ground up, I mean it. Don’t worry if you love the original PnP Pods though, you can also use them on the Drag X Pro too. In short it’s basically a Pod that will enable you to run TPP coils on all of your Voopoo Pod Mod products. Voopoo have been careful to make sure this new Pod is compatible with not only all of their older devices that take the PnP Pods, but their new TPP coils. It’s been redesigned from the ground up keeping user’s feedback in mind. Here’s something new, Voopoo’s new TPP X Pod. The Drag X Pro, also now takes a 21700 battery, or an 18650 battery with a sleeve, compared to the original which only took 18650 batteries. It’s much softer, and stops scratches on the bottom! It feels so nice putting the device down on the table now. That’s right! No more x5 clicks of the fire button to turn off/on!!Īnother notable feature, and it really is a small thing but makes all the difference, is the silicone or rubber strip on the base. Not only does this switch allow you to lock the device physically, but it can also be set in the device itself, to operate as a Power On/Off switch too. The front face is identical to the original, with the exception of this small switch between the adjustment buttons and the USB charging port. Probably the most notable change here however, is the switch on the front face of the device. You’ll notice from the photos above that the Pod connection has changed, it’s now a 2 pin connection instead of 3, the airflow is now a 360 degree adjustable airflow ring, compared with the 180 degree lever that was on the original. ![]() It’s still a zinc-alloy based frame, with a leather heel, the embossing is a little different, but that’s really it for the main casing. There are some subtle differences and some not so subtle differences to the new model. The Drag X Pro is an external battery (18650/21700) capable Pod Mod, with a maximum wattage of 100 Watts, a 5.5ml e-liquid capacity, 360 degree adjustable airflow, with both button and auto-draw modes, all using Voopoo’s new TPP coils which pump out some amazing flavour and vapour. Let’s run through what the Drag X Pro actually is before going on about the improvements. ![]() There are a few, both aesthetic, physical as well as functional. ![]() Well, in it I explain all of the updates that Voopoo have made to these latest Drag S/Drag X Pro devices. The next day it was still replaying in my head so I googled C to D Man on the Moon, just a shot in the dark, and the first article to populate was The Rolling Stones article mentioned above about it originally being called C to D interlude. He had no idea outside of it possibly being simply music notes what it meant or why it kept nuancing my thoughts. My husband being a songwriter, I asked him what C to D was thinking it sounded like a musical reference but unclear why it’s stuck in my head. The next day all day the words C to D kept playing over in my mind compulsively without any idea why or what it even meant. So when I get home I tell my husband and my neighbor. We literally lost our s-t with amazement. We went back inside to verify it, and in fact it was that song. ![]() There was music playing inside but I didn’t notice until we exited into the strange silence of Covid and no one being in public that the song on the speakers kept playing in my subconscious after we exited. After the story the food was ready so I went inside to pay while he added his fixings to his burger. As we sat in the parking lot waiting for our burgers to be cooked I told him about this crazy Man on the Moon story. The next day was my sons 16th birthday so with Covid in full effect we were limited to options for celebration so he decided we would order burgers from fudruckers. She said she was trying to remember who she saw it with and I call her the very next day with the answer, literally pre planned 21 years earlier by no coincidence. She was shocked because when she got home the night before from our visit she watched a movie with her kids, she was telling them about Jim Carey and decided to watch Man on the Moon because she vaguely remembered enjoying it. As I told her about it I shared the part that we watched it together when I visited her in Plainview. I called to tell her about the coincidence of mine and my husband’s convo and the fact I stumbled across the tick just within an hour later not even realizing I had that possession. One of the names was my cousin who had just visited. On the back I wrote the three people I went to see it with and the town which was Plainview, Texas. It’s the stub for the movie Man on the Moon when I saw it in theaters in 1999. I begin going through my books on a bookshelf and from my first Bible falls a movie ticket. Next day my husband and I chat for a moment as he was making his way to work about Jim Carey and his role as Andy Kaufman in the Movie man on the Moon. My cousin visited for the first time ever and we talked about how coincidences are not coincidental at all. I prayed in despair for truth that God reveal what is truth in the matter. I was confused about truth and lies at the very beginning of Covid. Michellemiller from Buda, TexasLong story. It was one of those magic moments I'll remember long after the award ceremonies and the photo sessions have disappeared into the mists of time." "When we reconvened, Michael walked into the studio, sang, 'Man On The Moon' once, and walked out," Peter Buck said in the In Time compilation. Instead of working through it in the studio, the band took a few days off, during which Stipe listened to the track on a cassette in his rental car until he found inspiration. Stipe struggled to find the right words and was against the clock because the album was due soon. I think we might have played some mandolin on it in the rehearsal studio." I think Bill played bass and I played guitar we kept going around with it. I remember we showed it to Mike and Michael when they came in later definitely we had the song finished. I sat down and came up with the chorus, the bridges, and so forth. he would come up with the riffs, but I would be the finish guy for that. In the liner notes for Part Lies, Part Heart, Part Truth, Part Garbage 1982-2011, Peter Buck recalled how the music for this song came together: "'Man on the Moon' was something that Bill had this one chord change that he came in with, which was C to D like the verse of the song, and he said, 'I don't know what to do with that.' I used to finish some of Bill's things. |
